MIDWEST RECRUITING: Burney gives a shout out to guys in the shadows who should be centers of attention

Being a center on the gridiron is a thankless job. Nobody gives you props, the credit and headlines always go to the guy you’re snapping the football to.
Well, Burney’s changing that right now and giving well-deserved shout outs to a pair of MEGA BALLERS in the state of Indiana’s junior class. I’m talking about my main HOOSIER HOMEBOYS, Zionsville’s Gus Hartwig and Beech Grove’s Josh Fryar, the two best centers in the Class of 2020
Fryar (6-foot-5, 300 pounds) is fierce and smart at the point of attack, great at recognizing changing coverage packages. He’s been offered college scholarships to Indiana, Purdue, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Indiana State and Toledo. Word from across the border in Michigan is that TEAM HARBAUGH over in Ann Arbor might be ready to offer soon.
Hartwig (6-foot-6, 285 pounds) has outstanding footwork and technique. Josh Wagner is the kind of lights-out field general he is, at least partially, because of the protection Hartwig provides. Indiana and Purdue have both delivered bids to his doorstep, while the scuttlebutt in Midwest scouting circles is that Northwestern and Iowa may be on the verge of offering.
