MIDWEST RECRUITING: Burney’s top 5 off guard prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2020

1 Trey Galloway (Culver Academies, 6-foot-4, SG) — Maybe the best pure shooter in the whole state, has offers from Purdue, Michigan State, Butler, Iowa, Notre Dame and Nebraska.
2 Anthony Leal (Bloomington South, 6-foot-4, SG) — Oozing with talent at the two-guard spot, tasty mix of moxie and natural-born-killer instinct coming off the wing, has offers from Northwestern, Iowa, Butler, Maryland, Stanford and Xavier.
3 Dre Davis (Lawrence Central, 6-foot-5, G/F) — Committed to Nebraska, Davis is the top slasher in the junior class, crafty, smooth and athletic.
4 Jaden Ivey (Mishawaka Marian, 6-foot-3, SG) — A straight assassin attacking the tin, ferocious finisher, flair for the dramatic and highlight-reel type plays, whether knifing into the lane or running and gunning on the fast break.
5 Johnell Davis (Gary 21st Century, 6-foot-3, combo) — Dynamic presence of a combo guard, the kind of playmaker who is at his most dangerous when the game is on the line. Kent State offered over the summer.
Name to watch:
Julien Hunter (New Albany, 6-foot-3, SG) — Magic in the making … wait for it …
