MIDWEST RECRUITING: Six-pack of IHSAA football recruits revving up for April shower of offers

Six football players who should see an uptick in their respective recruiting stock this spring:
1 Quinton Cannon (Indianapolis Cathedral 6-foot-2, 210-pound Jr. OLB) — Maybe the most lethal linebacker prospect in the whole Class of 2020 … speed, power and precision technique.
Stat Tracker: 70 tackles, three picks and three sacks in 2018.
2 Jordan Miles (Decatur Central 6-foot-2, 215-pound Jr. OLB) — Rough, rugged and raw type sideline to sideline, brings the noise every snap.
Stat Tracker: 80 tackles and eight sacks in 2018.
3 Shiloh Means (Indianapolis Cathedral 6-foot-2, 200-pound Jr. S) — The definition of a savvy ball hawk out of the secondary, big-hit specialist.
Stat tracker: 100 tackles last season.
4 Kyran Montgomery (Indianapolis Pike 6-foot-5, 230-pound Soph. DE) — The hottest sophomore recruit in the state right now, straight nastiness coming off the edge and disrupting a pocket … Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, Cincinnati have all offered scholarships in the past six weeks.

5 Randy Wells (Warren Central 6-foot-0, 200-pound Jr. S) — Can you say SUPERSONIC SLEEPER SPECIAL? Incredible instinct, presence and poised playmaking … really flying under the radar in recruiting circles, represents supreme value.
Stat Tracker: 85 tackles & 5 picks in historic 2018 campaign in which Central won a state crown and finished as one of the top prep squads in the country.
6 Jay Higgins (Brebeuf Jesuit 6-foot-2, 225-pound Jr. ILB) — Bone-crushing tackler, the total package: brawn, brains and a boatload of SWAGGER sideline to sideline to decimate the competition.
