Players from STATE CHAMPS! footprint dominate North Region honors from NFCA

By: MATTHEW B. MOWERY, July 6, 2021, 12:33 am

Of the 158 athletes who earned all-region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, 23 of them were from the three-state footprint of STATE CHAMPS! That included all but seven of the 31 players honored in the North Region.

Ohio’s Lakota West and Keystone both had four players on the two teams, better than all but three other programs nationwide.

The honorees, picked by NFCA member coaches from the region, are now eligible for spots on the NFCA High School All-America squads which will be announced July 16.
