Voting for the 2022 Wall Award is On! The Wall Award complements the Hockey Player of the Year contest, showcasing the best Michigan High School goalie the state - also Sponsored by Warrior Hockey!

Unlike any other state-wide award, this is the only one that allows the Michigan fans to weigh in! The winner of the online vote is automatically entered into the Final Four, and their chances of winning is increased by 20%.

To vote, please login/register with your social media account below, select the candidate that you believe is having the best year in High School Hockey, and cast your vote!! Voting is limited to once every 3 minutes, so please refresh your browser after the allotted timeframe to cast another vote! By voting in the Wall Award contest, you agree to allow State Champs! Network and its affiliates to update you via email about news, sports events and special offers.

The criteria that will be used to select the 2022 Wall Award champion will be: 30% - Performance Throughout Season 20% - Level of Competition 20% - Online Vote 15% - Big Game Performance 10% - Team Success 5% - Highly Recruited Prospect.
Throughout the season, our media analysts have been monitoring performance, updating player statistics and adding new candidates into the contest as their actual play and performance merits, with a goal of keeping the ten best hockey players on the board.

Justin is a great man who is developing into a tremendous leader. Justin is a great competitor for our team and leader for our goaltending group. He is positionally sound and is able to challenge shooters because of his quickness. His best attribute is his ability to maintain good posture while moving in the net. He continues to make giant strides in each practice and has raised his game to a new level this year. I look forward to his continued growth both on and off the ice. Riverview Gabriel Richard | Sophomore

Ryan is competing at a very high level at a very young age, he gained a lot of experience as a Freshmen and now this year he is showing excellent poise against the best teams in the state. In a 2 week period he had a 1.00 gaa average facing U of D, Detroit Catholic Central, Brother Rice, and Detroit Country Day. Along with be a sound technical goalie, he is mentally tough, which might be the toughest part of a goalies game.
