Michigan football rankings after Week 4 of 2019: Brother Rice, Edwardsburg, DeWitt, Woodhaven, Grand Blanc jump into top 25

By: MATTHEW B. MOWERY, September 23, 2019, 1:34 pm

Another week with plenty of movement in the top 25, as the Catholic League’s Central Division teams continue to flip the script, with Birmingham Brother Rice moving in and Orchard Lake St. Mary’s moving up after big — but close — wins. The defending D4 champion Edwardsburg Eddies move into the rankings, as well, after pushing their win streak to 18 games, while Downriver League leader Woodhaven jumps in at No. 24. As always, the teams that drop out after a loss — see: DeWitt at No. 23 — can be right back in the rankings after a big win.
