Top 25 teams: Cass Tech, Detroit CC remain 1-2, Canton moves back into top 25

1. Detroit Cass Tech (6-0), A: The Technicians scored 17 points in the second quarter and went on to defeat Detroit King, 31-18. This week Cass Tech finishes its league season at Detroit Osborn on Friday.

2. Detroit Catholic Central (6-0), A: C.C. defeated Gary (IN) Westside Leadership 47-0 and will play at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s on Friday.

3. Utica Eisenhower (6-0), A: The Eagles blitzed Macomb L’Anse Creuse North 70-6 and will play at Sterling Heights Stevenson on Friday.

4. Muskegon (5-1), A: The Big Reds walloped Grand Rapids Union 69-0 and will play at Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills on Friday.

5. Walled Lake Western (5-1), A: Jalen Marshall rushed for four TDs as Western defeated Waterford Mott, 38-7. On Friday the Warriors will host Walled Lake Northern in a game for first place in the KLAA North Division.

6. Saline (6-0), A: The Hornets defeated Ann Arbor Pioneer, 20-9, and this Friday Saline will host Monroe.

7. Lowell (6-0), A: Lowell defeated Cedar Springs 27-8 and will play host Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central in a game that will decide the O-K White Division champion on Friday.

8. Detroit King (5-1), A: King lost to Cass Tech, 31-18, ending a 19-game winning streak. The Crusaders look to bounce back on Saturday as they play at Detroit East English Village Prep.

9. Davison (6-0), A: Davison held Midland to 69 yards and defeated the Chemics 20-0. Davison will play at Lapeer on Friday. 

10. Dearborn Fordson (6-0), A: Hamze Elzayat threw for two TDs and rushed for one TD to lead Fordson over Redford Union, 45-0, and the Tractors will plat Dearborn Heights Robichaud on Friday.

11. Traverse City Central (6-0), A: Central defeated Petoskey 49-20 and will host Alpena on Friday.

12. Temperance Bedford (5-1), A: The Kicking Mules slipped past Monroe, 13-10, and will host Ann Arbor Huron on Friday.

13. Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (4-2), A: The Eaglets held Birmingham Brother Rice to two first downs and defeated the Warriors 21-0. St. Mary’s hosts Detroit C.C. on Friday.

14. Rockford (4-2), A: The Rams defeated Grandville, 7-6, and will host Holland West Ottawa on Friday

15. Grandville (5-0), A: Grandville lost to Rockford, 7-6 and will play at Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills on Friday.

16. River Rouge (5-1), B: River Rouge defeated Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 42-0 and will host Detroit Voyageur on Friday.

17. Grand Ledge (5-1), A: The Comets defeated Lansing Eastern 42-6 and will play at Lansing Everett on Friday.

18. Allen Park (6-0), A: The Jaguars led Trenton 23-3 and then defeated the Trojans 23-10 to take sole possession of first place in the downriver League. Allen Park plays at Melvindale on Friday.

19. Birmingham Groves (6-0), A: The Falcons defeated Farmington Hills Harrison 14-7 in overtime and will host Rochester Adams on Friday in a game that will help determine the OAA White Division champion.

20. Warren Mott (6-0), A: Mott defeated Fraser 40-6 and will host Romeo on Friday. 

21. Hudsonville (5-1) A: The Eagles defeated Grand Rapids Northview 48-13 and will host Caledonia on Friday.

22.  Northville (5-1), A: The Mustangs defeated South Lyon 24-21 and will play at Livonia Stevenson on Friday.

23. DeWitt (5-1), A: The Panthers ran past Haslett 45-0 and will at St. Johns on Friday.

24. Menominee (6-0), B: The Maroons defeated Escanaba, 28-14, and will host Sault Ste. Marie on Friday.

25. Canton (4-2), A: The Chiefs ran past Livonia Churchill 51-7 and will play at Wayne Memorial on Friday.
