Ready To Keep Penning His Story In The Big 10 – Zionsville Hoopster Commits To Penn St.

The Indiana schoolboy flavor continues to flow into State College, PA.
Zionsville junior combo guard Logan Imes committed to Penn State this week, joining former West Lafayette point guard Braedan Schrewsberry in the Nittany Lions’ Class of ’23. Schrewsberry came to Happy Valley with his pops, PSU head coach Micah Schrewsberry, the one-time Purdue and Butler assistant who took over last winter and prepped himself at Indianapolis Cathedral in the 1990s.
Imes is a savvy 6-foot-4 playmaker out of the backcourt and visited campus last weekend. Penn State was his first high-major offer back in the fall. Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Creighton also offered.
As a junior in 2022, Imes averaged 18 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds per game for a 14-8 Zionsville club. He should be in the thick of the race for Mr. Basketball in 2023.
Penn State finished 14-17 in Schrewsberry’s first year pacing the sidelines. The elder Schrewsberry played his college hoops at Hanover.
