Red Alert In Indy — Football Stars Gotkowski & Martin Make College Decisions, Choose Miami (OH)
They’ll be rambling on to Red Hawks territory next year.
Ben Davis junior quarterback Tom Gotkowski and Fishers junior running back Khobie Martin, two of the top offensive prospects in the Indianapolis area, committed to Miami (OH) last week.
Gotkowski (6-foot-2, 180) scooped a half-dozen scholarship offers this offseason on the heels of a breakout 2022 campaign where he threw for 2,350 and 24 touchdowns, completing 65 percent of his passes.
Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ball State and Illinois State each tossed offers in his direction since the conclusion of last year’s season. WMU and Ball State were his first offers and they both came in January.
Martin (6-0, 190) rushed for 1,400 yards and 16 touchdowns in 202 for a 7-4 Fishers squad. Ball State was his first offer in December, but Miami offered soon thereafter.
