Saginaw Valley State to host All-Star Football Game on Saturday

Saginaw – Quarterback Hamze Elzayat, a State Champs Mr. Football candidate from Dearborn Fordson, is just one of the top graduating seniors who will participate in the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-Star Football Game on Saturday at Saginaw Valley State at 1 p.m.
Joining the flashy Elzayat on the East team is Mustafa Khaleefah, a 6-6, 285-pound lineman from Dearborn who signed with Michigan State.
Another player to look for on the East team is running back Najon Moore of Warren Fitzgerald.
Among the top players leading the West team is record-setting running back Jared Smith of Division 7 Shonte Suddeth of Jackson.
Defensively there’s end Rog Stein of Kalamazoo Central. Basketball fans remember Stein as one of the top players who helped lead the Maroons to the Class A quarterfinals.
Jeff Wood of Temperance Bedford is the head coach of the East team and Jason McIntyre of Mount Pleasant is the head coach of the West.
Tickets are $10 and are available the day of the game at the front gate.
