Seeing Red In Ohio — Clarkston’s Kohl Jarvis Jumps Across Border, Chooses Miami (OH)

Clarkston Wolves safety Kohl Jarvis committed to Miami (OH) last weekend.
Jarvis (6-2, 185) helped spark Clarkston to a share of the OAA Red crown and on a trip to the Division 1 state semifinals last fall. He collected 105 tackles and 2 picks from his spot in the secondary in 2022, while scoring 5 touchdowns on offense. Wayne State, Eastern Kentucky and Valparaiso were all in the hunt for his services at the next level as well.
Former Grand Valley State head coach Chuck Martin, who won a pair of NCAA DII National Championships in the mid-2000s helms the Miami (OH) program, having led the Red Hawks to four Bowl games in his nine seasons. Martin is known for seeking maximum speed at the free safety position. Jarvis clocks in at 4.5 in the 40-yard dash.
