Sharp As A Knife – Park Tudor Hoopster Coleman Commits To P-FW

The Circle City has gifted Ft. Wayne a sleeper sharpshooter who is as deadly on the hardwood as the Sandman or the Boogeyman are in world of comic-book fiction.
Indianapolis Park Tudor senior small forward Jermaine Coleman committed to play his college basketball at Purdue-Ft. Wayne this week. This is a mid-major recruit with NBA-level upside. Purdue-Ft. Wayne went 21-12 last year and won the Horizon League.
Coleman is a fierce and fluid 6-foot-7 wing, a true sniper and genuine gamer. He averaged 20 points and 8 rebounds per game last winter, connecting on 43 percent of his 3-point bombs. He defends on the perimeter with pesky energy and finishes strong on the fast break.
And it’s not just hoops. Coleman is an ace in the classroom as well. The University of Pennsylvania of the Ivy League offered him in September.
Besides Purdie-Ft. Wayne and Penn, other schools to offer Coleman scholarships were Akron, Miami (OH), Wright State, Valpo, Southern Illinois, Evansville and IUPUI. In the offseason, Coleman plays for the Indy Heat Gym Rats in the EYBL.
