St. Mary’s names former assistant, 1992 graduate as varsity basketball coach
State Champs has learned that Todd Covert, a varsity assistant coach since 1999, has been named the head coach replacing longtime coach George Porritt.
Porritt, as reported earlier, remians as the school’s athletic director and varsity football coach.
Covert graduated from St. Mary’s in 1992.
