By: MATTHEW B. MOWERY, April 1, 2020, 5:41 pm

This week, we’ll be rolling out the final four nominees for each winter sport, to narrow down who’s still in play for a spot on our STATE CHAMPS! 2019-20 All-Junior Team. The final winter All-Junior Team will be unveiled in early April.

Next up, we take a look at the final four for boys skiing:

• Andrew Myers, Brighton

Was 13th in the giant slalom (61.64) and fifth in the slalom (85.26), leading the Bulldogs to a second-place finish, just one point behind Marquette. He was a second-team MHSSCA second-team all-stater in both events a season ago.

• Jack Lintol, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep

Was fifth in the slalom (1:17.74) and eighth in the giant slalom (52.06), helping the Irish to a fourth-place finish at the D2 meet.

• Zeke King, Rochester Adams

Was third in the giant slalom (60.13) and seventh in the slalom (88.07), helping lead Adams to a third-place finish at the D1 meet. He was a D2 all-stater a year ago.

• Logan Audette, Marquette

Was eighth in the slalom (88.26) and 60th in the giant slalom (83.07). He finished 27 hundredths of a second ahead of Brighton’s Cru Smith in the slalom. Had the positions been reversed, Brighton wins the title. Instead, it was Marquette winning its eighth straight state title.
