STATE CHAMPS! SCOUT TEAM: A bullish market for ballers — Pike hoopster Ryan Conwell picks South Florida

The Bulls bagged a good one.
Indianapolis Pike senior basketball star Ryan Conwell committed to South Florida in late September, giving USF Bulls head coach Brian Gregory one of the best combo guards in Hoosierland. South Florida competes out of the American Athletic Conference.
The 6-foot-3 Conwell broke out big time last year, showing off his slick, bouncy style of offense and rangy, active prowess on ‘D.’ He had more than a dozen scholarship offers to choose from, including Xavier, Virginia Tech and Murray State.
Last winter, Conwell fired in 16.5 points per game to go along with four rebounds, threee assists and two steals. In the offseason, he plays for the Eric Gordon All-Stars AAU program.
