’22 IHSAA QBs poised for big-league breakouts in their senior seasons under center

(alphabetical order)

Luke Candiano (Pendleton Heights 6-foot-0, 175 pounds) — Pinpoint accuracy, piping-hot arm.

Tate Drone (Rensselaer Central 6-3, 180) — Checks all the boxes, gets into a groove going down field in a hurry.

Guy Griffey (Hamilton Heights 6-1, 190) — Shows flashes of lightning-in-a-bottle playmaking, will up the ante in all phases of his game in ’21 and bring the thunder as well.

Brant Kunz (Whiteland 6-3, 200) — Very underrated, very dangerous if you dare him to beat you through the air.

Ethan Nunemaker (Bremen 5-10, 170) — Quiet assassin lurking in the shadows waiting to pounce.

Logan Lockhart (Valparaiso 6-0, 190) — Expect explosions in the stat sheet early and often.

Tylee Swopes (Portage 6-2, 180) — Maybe the most exciting Northwest Indiana Nasty you don’t know about yet, but need to ASAP.

MaKye Tharp (Cascade 6-3, 170) — Moves the chains with moxie, motor and mad efficiency.
