By: SCOTT M. BURNSTEIN, January 15, 2021, 8:00 am

Five For Fighting — The Top 5 “Low Key” Game Changers In The Backcourt

1 Brody Whitaker (Greencastle 6-3 Sr. G) — Signed with Marian University, Whitaker wills his squad to dubs with his hard-nosed scoring and playmaking.

2 Karson Jenkins (Ft. Wayne Snider 6-3 Jr. G) — Slick and surefire gunner who has taken his game to the next level this season.

3 Kyle Thomas (Cloverdale 6-4 Jr. G) — Versatile and durable scorer, a swag nasty adept at torching nets.

4 Jalen Jackson (Ft. Wayne Carroll 6-0 Jr. G) — Becoming a very special player and the epitome of a fearless floor general.

5 (tie) Fletcher Loyer (Homestead 6-5 Jr. G) — Committed to Purdue, Loyer, a Michigan transplant and true gym rat, is in the process of playing and shooting his way into the hearts of Hoosierland hoop fans everywhere; legend of the 50-ball he dropped last month in a win over Marion has already reached mythic proportions. Mr. Basketball 2022 is in his sights.

5 (tie) Kolden Vanlandingham (Northeastern 6-2 Sr. G) — Goes to the rack and attacks the rim as well as anybody in the state.
