1 Amare Snowden (Roseville 6-3, 180 Soph. DB) — No. 1 with a bullet, this secondary maestro out of the MAC has all the tools for greatness and just picked up his first Power 5 offer from Nebraska last week, then got an Eastern Kentucky offer Thursday. MLB Draft prospect, as well, as a centerfielder and lefty hurler.
2 Aaron Rice (North Farmington 6-5, 185 Jr. WR) — The most underrated deep threat in the OAA, think Devin Funchess, Ricky Bryant, Mark Dell, Aaron Burbridge. Eastern Michigan just offered, coming on the heels of Columbia and Air Force putting bids on the table for this high-academic pass catcher.
3 Kyle Johnson (West Bloomfield 6-2, 185 Jr. S/LB) — Prototype “Viper,” Johnson can cover, tackle and make defensive play calls with the best of the best in the OAA Red. Navy came in with his first offer last week, followed by Eastern Kentucky this week.
4 Cole Cabana (Dexter 6-0, 175 Soph. SB) — Washtenaw County’s own version of Dylan McCaffrey, Cabana is crafty, versatile and instinctive with the rock in his hands. Akron was the first school to offer last week, followed by Central Michigan.
5 Cam Roetherford (Warren Michigan Collegiate 6-5, 265 Jr. DL/OL) — The top lineman prospect in Macomb County that you don’t know about but need to ASAP. Roetherford is big and agile with quick feet and nasty streak in the trenches. Akron and Central Michigan entered the picture with recent offers.
