By: SCOTT M. BURNSTEIN, August 8, 2021, 3:55 pm

IHSAA Class of ’22 QB power index

Tayven Jackson (Center Grove) — Committed to Tennessee, Jackson is the Patrick Mahomes of the IHSAA

Brady Allen (Gibson Southern) — Committed to Purdue, Allen is a pure gunslinger and has immense presence and command in the pocket.

Maximus Webster (Westfield) — Committed to Ball State, Webster checks all the boxes for a dynamite signal caller and nails tough competitor.

Aidan Leffler (Roncalli) — One of the most underrated field generals in the Midwest.

Jeff Becker (Ft. Wayne Carroll) — The IHSAA’s Drew Brees, can pick apart a defense like a true pro.

Zach Osborne (Carmel) — Ready for a huge senior season, one of the more underappreciated QBs in the state.

Reece Lozano (Bloomington North) — Great touch and vision, the genuine article in the huddle, in the locker room and going end zone to end zone leading a drive.

Justin Fisher (Mishawaka) — Versatile playmaker under center who plays with a chip on his shoulder every snap.

Carson Clark (Ft. Wayne Bishop Luers) — Came out of nowhere last season and is ready to keep setting the IHSAA on fire with his flamethrower of an arm.

Clark Barrett (Lafayette Central Catholic) — Maybe the most value at the position recruiting-wise in his class, does it all and does it well.
