The Rock of the Rockford Rams has bulldogged his way to the next level with a bulldog’s tenacity in the pocket.

Rockford senior quarterback Zak Ahern committed to Ferris State last week. Ahern is the definition of a winner and a workhorse on the gridiron.

The 6-foot-2 fearless field general is 19-1 as a starter and his Rockford Rams club is currently 11-0 and finished the 2021 regular season as the No. 1 team in Division 1. Last year, Ahern took the Rams into the final four.

Ahern is the quintessential dual-threat playmaker. He has thrown for 1,622 yards and rushed for 1,366 yards, totaling 44 touchdowns.

Ferris State is a Division II powerhouse. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 1 in the country right now.
