STATE CHAMPS! SCOUT TEAM: The Quarterback Report — Maximus Webster wowing under center for Westfield in ’20

Westfield junior quarterback Maximus Webster is having a breakout campaign this fall. He’s got that Peyton Manning swag in the pocket and can make all the tough throws. His offseason preparation is paying dividends, as both Webster and his Westfield club are rocking and rolling like a Maroon 5 concert.
Mechanics, motivation and moxie makes for a mighty scary combination under center.
See: “Mix Master” Maximus Webster.
The Rocks are 5-1 and looking razor sharp after a dramatic 43-42 double overtime takedown of previously unbeaten Brownsburg last Friday night. Webster (6-foot-2, 220 pounds) had ice in his veins and surgically dissected the Brownsburg defense for 303 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
In the spring, he carries a heavy stick as a star infielder on the baseball diamond.
