About to Catch Fire MHSAA Football Recruiting “Dirty Dozen” — Spring 2021

(alphabetical order)

Vinny Booth (Harper Woods 6-foot-3, 205-pound Jr. QB) — Will have a huge senior season in his new HW digs (transfer from Divine Child), buy stock now and thank me later.

Jordon Clerkley (Okemos 6-0, 175 Jr. CB) — Playmaker personified in one-on-one pass coverage.

Percy Fowler (Belleville 6-3, 290 Jr. OL) — Big motor, big talent, bigger heart.

Mohammed Hazime (Dearborn Fordson 6-5, 250 Jr. TE) — Lots of upside at the next level, beginning to really turn heads.

Kari Jackson (West Bloomfield 6-2, 210 Fr. LB) — Beast Mode 24/7 sideline to sideline, diaper dandy oozing with tangibles and intangibles alike.

Darrell Jones (Southfield A&T 5-10, 160 Soph. WR) — Slippery slot receiver and return specialist, speed, instinct and home-run possibilities on every touch.

Dustyn Morrell (Lapeer 6-5, 260 Jr. OL) — Blood, sweat and tears-type in the trenches.

Zach Person (Kingsford 6-5, 220 Jr. WR) — The pride of the UP’s prospecting crop, hustle, hands & headiness.

RaSean Randall (Detroit Cass Tech 6-4, 200 Soph. WR) — DPJ 2.0, expect ginormous things in the next two years.

Cross Watson (Portage Central 6-5, 270 Jr. OL) — Best lineman on the west side of the state that you don’t know about yet, but will very soon.

Bruce Williams (Ann Arbor Huron 6-3, 235 Soph. DE/LB) — Making scouts drool with his freakish skill set and versatility on defense.

Melik Williams (Ypsilanti Lincoln 6-2, 210 Jr. LB) — Represents tremendous value at the position, just scratching the surface on his potential.
