FT. WAYNE GRIDIRON WATCH LIST  — Ten Ft. Wayne football players to watch for this summer

(alphabetical order)

Jaden Abouhalkah (Homestead, DL, Class of ‘22) — Footwork, fundamentals and pure pancake power in the trenches.

Jeff Becker (Ft. Wayne Carroll, QB, Class of ‘22) — Hoosierland’s prep version of Drew Brees, any questions? Plain and simple, a highway robbery waiting to happen on the recruiting circuit right now for whichever college program secures his services.

Rylan Crawford (Leo, WR, Class of ‘22) — Maybe highest upside at his position in the state’s incoming senior recruiting crop.

Sir Hale (Ft. Wayne Bishop Luers, CB, Class of ‘22) — Just a very, very underrated cover corner.

Trevor Hapner (Ft. Wayne South Side, DL, Class of ‘22) — High motor, high character, high intensity, high intelligence.

Luke Haupert (Ft. Wayne Snider, QB, Class of ‘23) — Showing the signs of a big-time gunslinger in the making.

Julante Hinton (Ft. Wayne Northrop, DL, Class of ‘24) — The gold standard for line play in the area for the foreseeable future.

Aaron Stewart (Ft. Wayne Carroll, CB, Class of ‘22) — Some of the best value, recruiting-wise, in the whole state.

Jack Tippmann (Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger, TE, Class of ‘22) — Sleeper recruit with all the tools for mega success at the next level.

Jordan Turner (Ft. Wayne North Side WR Class of ‘22) — Hands and wheels, really good route runner who can go underneath and beat defensive backs deep
