The Cincinnati Kid: DLS Star QB Drogosh Decides To Be A Bearcat

The Tom Brady of the CHSL will be a Bearcat in college.

Warren De La Salle junior quarterback Brady Drogosh committed to the University of Cincinnati last week, turning his back on the Big Ten. The 6-foot-5 gunslinger and underrated dual-threat shunned offers from Indiana, Maryland and Minnesota to head to Bearcat Country, where UC is the defending champion of the American Athletic Conference and fresh from an appearance in the College Football Playoff, becoming the first non-Power 5 conference to reach that benchmark.

National scouting services tab Drogosh a Top 40 QB prospect in the U.S. for the Class of 2023. The kid is the picture of pigskin excellence under center, having taken his De La Salle squad to back-to-back final four appearances and a Division 2 state title last November. The versatility is simply astounding , 1,500 yards passing, 1,800 yards rushing and 40 total touchdowns, He just won a state crown on the basketball floor with the Pilots cage crew as well. Yeah, he’s THAT elite of an athlete.

“Brady does it all and it seems so effortless if you didn’t know his work ethic was second to none,” said De La Salle football coach Dan Rohn in the wake of the state championship run Drogosh had just taken his club on. “The arm, the intelligence, the physical attributes that scouts look for in quarterbacks today, not to mention his great field vision and leadership, he brings it all to the table (as a recruit).”
