An Elite 8 of MHSAA Boys Basketball Prospects Getting Heated On The Recruiting Trail Right Now:


1. Warren Marshall (Birmingham Brother Rice 6-5 Jr. G/F) — Blossoming into a go-to superstar as the season reaches its most pivotal point, grabbed his first two DI offers from Oakland University and UD-Mercy over the weekend

2. Darius “Cheeks” Acuff (Detroit Cass Tech 6-2 Soph. G) — Will go down as one of the all-time PSL greats when the book is written on his prep career, college scouts are just taking notice

3. Xander Wedlow (Detroit University Prep 6-10 Jr. C) — Best big fella in the state you don’t know about, but need to ASAP, UPrep’s man in the middle snatched offers from Ball State and, Western Michigan

4. Carson Vis (Grand Rapids South Christian 6-3 Soph. G) — Plays much older than his age out of the backcourt, efficient and tough as nails baseline to baseline. Enjoyed a visit to Michigan this past weekend

5. Anthony Ribel (Traverse City Central 6-3 Jr. G) — This kid’s game is as sweet as the cherry pie his hometown is famous for, visited Eastern Michigan this past weekend

6. Josh Gibson (Birmingham Groves 6-1 Soph. G) — Expect a huge summer on the recruiting circuit in ’23, the Falcons combo guard is a natural playmaker and the picture of poise and pesky persistence

7. Noah Adamczyk (Bloomfield Hills 6-1 Sr. G) — The MHSAA ‘s silent assassin, dropping almost 30 per night with very little recognition outside his community, the definition of a grinder, a gym rat and a coldblooded competitor. Last week, UI-Chicago offered him a PWO spot

8. Mohammed Habhab (Dearborn Fordson 6-8 Jr. F) — Possibly the most underrated prospect on the wing in his class out of Metro Detroit at this moment, smooth stroke, plays with heart, hustle and high hardwood IQ
