The Moore The Merrier In The Horseshoe — New Pal Blue Chipper Moore Picks Ohio State

He made a winning choice and then went out and got a big win on the gridiron.
New Palestine offensive lineman Ian Moore, the No. 1 football prospect in the Hoosier State’s junior class, committed to Ohio State University right before his New Pal club rallied to beat Mt. Vernon, 35,-24 in the first round of the playoffs and stay undefeated.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound mauler in the trenches is a consensus 4-star recruit and visited OSU back in June. He also fielded offers from Indiana, Purdue, Penn State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Miami (FL), Florida State, Tennessee, Maryland, Missouri, Cincinatti, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Louisville. His final visit was to Nebraska just before the start of training camp.
“I found myself comparing everything to Ohio State and that gave me every reason not to drag this thing out, shut it down right now and make it known I’m going to be an Ohio State Buckeye,” Moore told 24/7 Sports Midwest Football Recruiting Coordinator Allen Trieu.
Moore is the second pledge for OSU head coach Ryan Day’s 2024 recruiting crop. New Palestine is a perfect 10-0 in 2022.
