Portage Northern senior linebackerJadyn Walker switched his college commitment from Toledo toMichigan State earlier this month and stays firm to his pledge to be a future Spartan even after the Mel Tucker drama.
His rugged and rangy versatility shows in his ability to excel at receiver on offense. He racked up 785 yards and 7 touchdowns in catches as a junior in ’22. Walker’s Portage Northern club is 4-0 so far this season.
Walker (6-3, 200).is a 3-star prospect. Arizona State was his only other power-conference offer. Walker’s recruiting profile began gaining steam when he switched his primary position to outside linebacker.
