Warren Central’s offense conducting a fireworks display this season

By: Scott Burnstein, October 1, 2018, 3:30 pm

Warren Central is like a runaway freight train on the football field this fall, gaining more speed and momentum by the second and demolishing everything in sight. The Warriors are the gridiron giants of the IHSAA in 2018, sitting at 7-0 and ranked No. 16 in the whole country according to MaxPreps.com. Their offense is volcanic. WC is putting up an INSANE 54 points per game.

This ‘O’ is OFF THE CHAIN!!!

Alright let’s ROLL CALL IT … Pride of the Eastside STYLE!!

Jayden George (QB) — Senior starter under center who is setting secondaries ablaze with that rocket launcher attached to his shoulder, spreading the wealth around to his bevy of weapons and living up to the family name in a SERIOUS WAY!!!

Roman Purcell (QB) — Junior back-up waiting patiently for the reins while considered the best college prospect at the position in the state. Purcell holds offers from Louisville and Kentucky and has looked excellent in spot duty behind George.

Romier Elliott (RB) — Southern Illinois commit whose running style is a scary combination of smooth moves, powerful legs and a heart the size of Indianapolis.

Justin Britt (OL) — University of Iowa commit prone to decimate all opponents at the point of attack, in other words, the linchpin for the Warriors up front.

David Bell (WR) — Total game changer of a split end, primetime talent in every way, shape and form, the No. 1 wide out in the state … oh, did I mention he oozes swagger out of his pores instead of sweat on game day?

DeMarcus Brown (WR) — Blossoming superstar in the slot … ENOUGH SAID!!!

Latavious Goods WR) — The ultimate “glue guy” within this spellbinding bunch of pass catchers

Montrez Stanley (TE) — Nasty new era tight end, able to stretch the field and be an eruptive force in the red zone.
