Winter 2019-20 All-Junior Team watch lists for boys swimming
Here are the watch lists for this year’s All-Junior Team selections from boys swimming. Mining the results from last year’s finals, as well as the all-state list from the Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (MISCA), we have a solid working list of kids to keep an eye on, as the winter season progresses. We’ll narrow the field down to four finalists somewhere mid-March, then announce the final winter team (with all winter sports represented) around the end of April.
We have four swimmers who won individual events at the state meets a year ago, and one who won multiple events that THIS YEAR’s state meet (the UP version, which is in mid-February). We also have some swimmers who placed at the state meets a year ago, earning all-state honors.
If you have any suggestions for juniors to add to this list, feel free to send them to us by email, or social media. We will update this story with an accompanying video when it becomes available.
